Intended Use:

The TianLong Respiratory 12 Types Virus Nucleic Acid Multiplex Detection Kit is intended to detect 12 respiratory viruses nucleic acid qualitatively using Real-time (Reverse Transcription) Polymerase Chain Reaction (Real-time RT-PCR/PCR) method.

This kit is used for qualitative detection of respiratory virus nucleic acids in clinical samples. Respiratory virus (RV) is a virus that causes respiratory infections in humans. This kit can be used to detect 12 virus types, including influenza A, influenza B, respiratory syncytial virus, human metapneumovirus, human bocavirus, adenovirus, parainfluenza virus 1/2/3/4, coronavirus and human rhinovirus.

Respiratory virus RNA test technology enables us to have a more direct understanding of RV replication and infectiousness in patients. RV RNA positive is not only a reliable indicator of RV replication, but also an important indicator of respiratory  virus infection status and therapeutic effect. The test results shall not be used as the only index for the evaluation of the patient's condition, and they must be combined with the clinical manifestations and other detection methods for the comprehensive analysis of the condition.
