Intended Use:
The TianLong Hantaan Virus/Seoul Virus Nucleic Acid Detection Kit is intended for the qualitative detection of Hantaan/Seoul Virus nucleic acid by Real-time reverse transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (Real-time RT- PCR) method.
The test is designed to detect RNA from Hantaan/Seoul Virus in specimens such as serum, plasma, urine and saliva collected from individual personnel based on clinical and/or epidemiological criteria. Results from the test are for the identification of Hantaan/Seoul Virus RNA existence in samples tested.
Hantaan Viruses belong to the genus Hantaan Virus in the family Bunyaviridae and are segmented single- stranded paracord RNA viruses. The viruses that cause renal syndrome hemorrhagic fever in China are Hantaan Virus and Seoul Virus.
