Intended Use:
Hand, foot, and mouth disease (HFMD) is an infectious disease caused by enteroviruses, which is characterized by fever and vesicular eruptions on the hands, feet, and mouth.
There are more than 20 kinds of enteroviruses that cause HFMD. Among them, enterovirus 71 and coxsackie A16 are the most common pathogen. The kit is used for in vitro quantitative detection of enterovirus 71 (EV71), coxsackie A16 (CA16), and enterovirus universal (EU) nucleic acid in human throat swab samples.
According to clinical verification, the kit can detect enterovirus 71, coxsackie A16, coxsackie A4, coxsackie A5, coxsackie A6, coxsackie A7, coxsackie A9, coxsackie A10, coxsackie B2and coxsackie B5.
Wide Coverage: Detection of EV71, CA16, CA4, CA5, CA6, CA7, CA9, CA10, CB2 and CB5, the most common HFMD causing pathogen
High Sensitivity: The limit of detection is up to 500 copies/mL
High Precision: The coefficient of variation of the Ct values (CV%) is <= 5%
User-friendly: Widely applicable in instruments with FAM, VIC (HEX), Texas Red (ROX), Cy5 fluorescence channels
More Accessible: CE marked, accessible for more counties
